Hi, I’m Elena, a woman in my 50s who refuses to be relegated to the "background of life" category. I’m on a mission to put women like us front and center where we belong. That’s why I created the 40+ and Fabulous Portrait Project: a celebration of everything we are—bold, beautiful, wise, and let’s face it, a little tired of being underrepresented.
Why This Project Matters

We’re invisible in the world of glossy photos and magazine spreads, and it’s time to fix that. Every woman deserves a portrait that captures her essence, strength, and, yes, a bit of sass.
This isn’t just about photos. It’s about legacy. These portraits will be cherished by your kids, your grandkids, your nieces and nephews who’ll say, "She was beautiful!" It is time for you to choose HOW you wish to be remembered! The truth and reality is that your loved ones don't know the 20 or 30 year old you, those photos from 20 years ago don't represent their mom, grandma, wife, partner, aunt, or friend that you are.
